Community of Latin American and Caribbean States

The Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) is a relatively new international organization that is struggling to deal with collaboration and unity within its member states. For this committee session, it will have the choice of addressing one or both of the following issues: neo-colonialism in the Caribbean and the rights of incarcerated individuals. With political divisions, conflicting interests, and growing problems, CELAC member states will examine these contemporary issues and address them to the best of their ability.
